Both Macmillan Cancer Support and The Rowans Hospice have been invaluable to us and our mum Rosemary. The Rowans 'Hospice At Home' team helped us all immensely in the last months, weeks and days of mum's life; coming to her home twice daily to offer care and relief for Rosemary and support for her family. Nothing was too much trouble, every question we had was answered and their friendly, capable demeanours made all of us feel so much more at ease and able to cope at a very difficult time. They were like angels during our time of need and we will be forever grateful for their care, attention, sensitivity, expertise and support. Macmillan have been a constant source of support and information for all of us, not just in the last year since mum's recent leukemia diagnosis, but throughout the 8 years she was dealing with cancer from 2004-2011. They have been there in every capacity from emotional support in person and on the telephone, financial and legal advice and of course assisting with medical issues and involving other services where required. They do such a brilliant job for so many people, are an invaluable resource and we couldn't have got through these times without them. If you would like to contribute to either of these fantastic charities in memory of the support and care they were able to offer Rosemary, I know they (and we) would be truly grateful. Thank you.
